The Next Stimulus In the news today: Congress is considering a plan to pay criminals to not commit crimes. The House believes it will both stimulate the economy and lessen the burden on our nations prison system. Lobbyist representing police unions from around the country are working to kill the measure.

Okay, okay, take a Valium & relax before you pop and artery, I made-up that bit. But given some of the things Congress has done lately it doesn't sound all that far fetched. Heck, I can even picture the news media reporting the benefits - with a straight face no less.  ¶ 6.4.09
