My Allergy
I've decided it's time to admit I'm allergic to stupidity. I'm not talking about Darwin award stupidity. Anything that begins with "Hey y'all watch this" is just funny. I'm talking about everyday garden variety homo-stupidicous.
Symptom severity seems to increase roughly proportional to exposure severity and duration. Minor passing exposure produces a simple sneer or scowl. Next comes a mild anxiety which usually clears once I'm removed from the viral vector. Moderate exposure produces an intense and lingering irritation. Severe exposure requires immediate ingestion of anti-hypertensives.
When applying for my current job, two of my references told the human resources lady I don't suffer fools well. They hired me anyway. I believe they have a sadistic sense of humor & just though it would be funny to expose me to the locals. ¶ 5.3.09
