Incorrect Priorities A news report yesterday presented yet another ethnic group whining about being disadvantaged. Typical, the story reeked of perceived entitlements not being met.

As I pondered the situation, it struck me these groups have misplaced priorities. It all starts with their names. I mean these people are Americans. So why do they place their ethnicity first. Shouldn't they be American-Mexicans, American-Africans, American-Chinese, etc.

If they change their attitude, their perceptions might better align with reality. Then maybe just maybe we wouldn't have to listen to their incessant whining.  ¶ 4.7.08
